YAA GOES DIGITAL!
Fundraising Campaign
Young Artists of America (YAA) needs your help to “Go Digital!”
YAA has been meeting the challenge of the recent closures by introducing innovative virtual classes and performances that are on the cutting edge of the new digital musical theatre space.
However, the shift to virtual programming, comes at a significant cost. To continue making music this summer and into the fall, we need to make investments in technology — microphones and lighting for students, cameras for teachers, and new editing software.
And that’s where you come in.
YAA has received a generous donation — from Ed Grossman and Rochelle Stanfield and the Bill Grossman Fund of the Grossman Family Charitable Funds Inc. (GFCF) — that will help us match individual contributions up to $10,000 for these costly, but necessary items. So for every dollar you give between now and September 30, YAA will receive two!
If YAA has made a significant impact in your life or the life of your child, please consider sponsoring a piece of YAA Technology.
Your gift will ensure that the quality of YAA’s virtual programming is on par with the excellence you’ve come to expect from our in-person classes and performances. Your support will also allow students who don’t have access to technology to participate.
Even after the pandemic has passed, your gift will help YAA offer equal access to our programs, giving us the flexibility to work virtually with students who find transportation to be a barrier to participation.
YAA is a non-profit organization, and your gift is deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Please consider making a gift today, and help YAA Go Digital!
Sincerely,
Rolando Sanz, producing artistic director
Kristofer Sanz, music director
Lisa Larragoite, executive director
PS: Listen below to a couple of examples of what our students were able to accomplish with only the most basic technology on our Beauty and the Beast Cast Album this past spring. Imagine what we can create with your support!

Planned Giving/Stocks
Donating appreciated securities such as stocks or mutual funds is a smart and easy way to support Young Artists of America. Just as with cash gifts, you will receive a federal income tax donation for the full market value of any securities you donate as long as you have owned them for at least one year. You may also avoid the capital gains taxes you would owe if you sold these securities.
There are many different ways to plan your gift to our organization, many of which can save you taxes now, reduce the tax burden on your estate, provide lifetime income to you (or another), and provide a generous ultimate gift to Young Artists of America.
For more information on planned giving opportunities or gifts of stock, please contact Executive Director, Lisa Larragoite at (301) 272-8604, x700.
“I feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now. Thank you, Young Artists of America, for three unbelievable years of music and learning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
