Friends,
We are excited to announce YAA’s “World Premiere” Fundraising Campaign, in honor of the TWO world premieres YAA is presenting this season— the World Youth Premiere of Wonderland and the World Stage and Television Premiere of The Legacy of Hal Prince.
We have set an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 by June 30, 2023, and we need your help to get there!
As we take on greater expenses associated with emerging from the pandemic, your gift will allow us to make a greater impact on students by expanding and enhancing our programs, including:
New Program Locations which will allow us to serve a greater portion of the community.
An expanded Summer Performing Arts Intensives camp, which allows students to block out home life to focus on artistry and training.
Our “Reach for the Stars” Recruiting and Scholarship Program, to identify talented performers and provide tuition assistance, including our new BIPOC Scholarship.
Professional Mentors, like award-winning composers Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast), Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), and Jason Robert Brown (Parade).
If you give between now and December 31, 2022, your gift will be matched by a group of “Angel Donors”, so for every dollar you gift, YAA will receive two.
YAA is a non-profit organization, and your gift is deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Thank you again for helping YAA deliver transformative, inclusive, and inspirational performing arts programming to the youth in our community!
Always,
Rolando Sanz, Producing Artistic Director
Kristofer Sanz, Music Director
Lisa Larragoite, Executive Director
Planned Giving/Stocks
Donating appreciated securities such as stocks or mutual funds is a smart and easy way to support Young Artists of America. Just as with cash gifts, you will receive a federal income tax donation for the full market value of any securities you donate as long as you have owned them for at least one year. You may also avoid the capital gains taxes you would owe if you sold these securities.
There are many different ways to plan your gift to our organization, many of which can save you taxes now, reduce the tax burden on your estate, provide lifetime income to you (or another), and provide a generous ultimate gift to Young Artists of America.
For more information on planned giving opportunities or gifts of stock, please contact Executive Director, Lisa Larragoite at (301) 272-8604, x700.
