Friends,
As Young Artists of America® returns to the stage for our Tenth Anniversary Season, we hope you will consider supporting our “Next Decade” Campaign!
In addition to supporting the excellent programming you’ve come to expect from YAA, your donations will help us create a safe space, over the next decade, for students to express themselves and find their voice in an ever more challenging world!
We have set an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 by the end of our fiscal year (June 30, 2022). And we are thrilled to announce lead gifts from Ed Grossman and Rochelle Stanfield, Ollen and Julia Douglass, and a group of anonymous “angel donors,” which will be used as matching challenges throughout the campaign.
If you give between now and June 30, your gift will be matched by a generous donation from Ollen and Julia Douglass. So for every dollar you give, YAA will receive two! We still have $9,000 to go. Please help us bridge that gap!
Your support is helping YAA reimagine the landscape of arts education by delivering transformative, innovative, and inclusive arts programming to every corner of our community!
Always,
Rolando Sanz, Producing Artistic Director
Kristofer Sanz, Music Director
Lisa Larragoite, Executive Director
“I will carry the skills I learned here throughout the rest of my life.”
Planned Giving/Stocks
Donating appreciated securities such as stocks or mutual funds is a smart and easy way to support Young Artists of America. Just as with cash gifts, you will receive a federal income tax donation for the full market value of any securities you donate as long as you have owned them for at least one year. You may also avoid the capital gains taxes you would owe if you sold these securities.
There are many different ways to plan your gift to our organization, many of which can save you taxes now, reduce the tax burden on your estate, provide lifetime income to you (or another), and provide a generous ultimate gift to Young Artists of America.
For more information on planned giving opportunities or gifts of stock, please contact Executive Director, Lisa Larragoite at (301) 272-8604, x700.
“I feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now. Thank you, Young Artists of America, for three unbelievable years of music and learning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
