Beginner/Intermediate Levels

Twelve 75-minute classes per semester

• $395 for 12 classes (1 semester)

• $695 for 24 classes (2 semesters)

Class Description

Learn specialized technique and exercises that will provide a firm foundation for dance specific to Musical Theater. Class curriculum will draw on jazz, ballet and various contemporary movement styles that are frequently used in musical theatre choreography.

Classes will include warm-ups, exercises across the floor, and musical theater dance combinations.

BROADWAY DANCE II

Intermediate/Advanced Levels
Placement audition required.
All ages

Saturdays, 9:00-10:45am
Twelve 110-minute classes per semester

Tuition:

• $540 for 12 classes (1 semester)

• $985 for 24 classes (2 semesters)

Class Description

This intensive weekly class is a must for the serious musical theatre dancer.  Each two-hour session will begin with a barre class to focus on solid dance technique, then progress to across the floor combinations to improve on skills.  The last portion of class will include learning different combinations giving students experience in picking up choreography.

Prior dance experience is a requirement for this course and student will only be placed in the course after an audition.  

Audition Placement Class: September 14, 9:00-10:45AM.

BEGINNERS
Beginning level tappers, or those who need a refresher, will hone their skills and gain confidence in classic Broadway style tap. A perfect introduction for the musical theatre student who wants to add tap to their dance skill set

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Intermediate/Advanced tappers will build their skills and gain confidence in classic Broadway style tap. A perfect “bootcamp” for the musical theatre student who has already acquired basic tap skills but wants to broaden or refine them.
